Troops salvage 13 abduct casualties in Abia

 

Troops of 14 Unit working under 82 Division of the Nigerian Armed force have safeguarded 13 hijack casualties along Ngodo-Isuochi street in Umunneochi Nearby Government Area of Abia State.

The soldiers, who showed up the location of the occurrence while answering a misery approach Saturday 22 July 2023, found that a Sienna SUV and a L300 Mitsubishi transport with Enrollment Number UWN 190 AL Enugu had been gone after by hijackers.

An assertion by Brig Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, Head of Armed force Advertising said the ruffians kidnapped the travelers and got away into encompassing shrubs.

"The soldiers on getting extra data from observers at the scene, went in quest for the hijackers, following them into the brambles.

"During the inquiry and salvage activity, troops at first removed five casualties on the primary day of the hunt and salvage activity.

"Further inquiry on Sunday 23 July 2023 prompted the salvage of extra eight casualties, totalling 13 saved people.

"The safeguarded casualties have been given over to the Nigerian Police in Umunne Ochi.'The Nigerian Armed force requests to all decent residents to keep on supporting the soldiers and other security organizations with ideal and significant data, as they battle security challenges the nation over. "
